What does KAFF Analytics do?
We provide economic and financial analysis for attorneys, supporting all aspects of litigation from forensic investigation, pretrial discovery and strategy development through economic and financial modeling and evaluation of opposing expert reports and depositions to formal report preparation and testimony. We support attorneys and their business clients with integrated analysis and experienced interpretation of economic and financial data affecting them: market, operations, human resource, logistical and safety / security analyses; cost effectiveness and pricing analyses; business and asset valuation; mergers and acquisitions; financial planning; tax issues.
What are KAFF Analytics’ qualifications?
KAFF’s Analytics principal and lead forensic economist is Mark Erenburg. Mark earned a B.A. in Economics at the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Labor Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1969. He has provided forensic economic and consulting services to attorneys in Illinois and Ohio since 1976, working on cases of wrongful termination, wrongful death, diminished earning capacity, product liability, medical malpractice, pension valuation and damages assessment. Over the years, his work has been approximately 60% defense and 40% plaintiff. He is joined by equally experienced professionals from KAFF Systems, our parent organization and from regional accounting firms in Northeast Ohio. Our combined experience includes forensic economics, forensic accounting, financial and budget analysis, human resources, operations, logistics and workplace safety and risk management.
